Job Summary
.NET Developer with German language skills requested to design and maintain high-quality fullstack software applications with a backend focus on .NET. Responsibilities include designing scalable services and databases, utilizing PostgreSQL, containerizing with Docker, orchestrating with Kubernetes, building microservices and RESTful APIs, collaborating with frontend peers, following Agile workflows, contributing to architecture and performance improvements, and documenting system designs. The role emphasizes cloud-based deployment practices, team collaboration in a dynamic environment, and a willingness to work with AI. The candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of .NET backend experience, plus strong German and English communication skills and familiarity with Python as a bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a .NET developer
- Experience in designing and developing services for enterprise-level applications, particularly in the reinsurance or financial sector
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and deployment best practices
- Interest in working with AI
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Strong ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience with Python is a plus
