Job Summary
Design, develop, support, and maintain established DOR content management solutions and custom applications that provide electronic images to systems like IBM FileNet or Docfinity. Build back-end solutions in Oracle and SQL Server databases while troubleshooting errors in Microsoft .Net framework code. Translate business requirements into secure development activities and assist with planning upgrades and patching to modernize site solutions. Collaborate with internal teams handling image scanning and file imports. Research system issues and develop application documentation. This role requires a US Citizen or GC-Permanent Resident living in Metro Atlanta with a minimum of 5 years of .Net experience.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta
- US Citizen or GC-Permanent Resident
- Tax Clearance Letter, due at the time of submission
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or similar degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET Framework
- High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET Framework
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft .Net Frameworks
- Minimum 5 years of experience with relational databases
- Working experience with IBM P8 FileNet
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid/collaborative team environment
- Candidate must live in the State of Georgia
- Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations
- DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position
- Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes, or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired
- All employees will be fingerprinted
