Job Summary
Support corporate office projects for United Parks & Resorts in Orlando, FL by developing applications using Microsoft .NET, Dotnet Core, and ASP.NET. Code and maintain enterprise reusable components while adhering to Object Oriented and Service Oriented architecture best practices. Provide technical advice, troubleshoot significant issues to root cause, and lead resolution efforts for large-scale corporate business applications. Work within an Agile environment using Microsoft development tools to analyze and develop on-prem and cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field OR a minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience
- at least 5 years of progressive software development experience, with majority of recent experience with Microsoft development technologies
- worked on large, multi-year development projects
- excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at multiple levels, including: Programmers, non-technical Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Customers
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- effective organizational skills, demonstrated by ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and be attentive to details
- self-starter, work well within a team environment with minimal direction
- available to work onsite in Orlando, FL
- 5+ years of Development experience in Microsoft .NET / Dotnet Core (C#)
- Proficiency creating Enterprise applications both on prem and in the cloud
- Senior level C#, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, SQL
- Deep knowledge of front-end and back-end platforms and frameworks
- Full life cycle application development in an Agile environment
- Demonstrated ability and experience in providing development and support on large scale, corporate business applications
- Knowledge of formal OO methodology
- Understanding of relational database concepts and experience using SQL
