Job Summary
Senior .NET Developer at a national distributor of consumer electronics and appliances in Davenport, IA. Responsibilities include partnering with architects/engineers to implement scalable solutions using Clean Architecture; developing, testing, and maintaining applications with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server; collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements; troubleshooting and supporting existing systems; integrating with third-party systems and APIs; serving as a technical resource and mentoring others. Preferred experience includes Progress 4GL, secure development practices, and Docker or Kubernetes.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of .NET development experience (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, APIs)
- Strong experience with SQL Server, unit testing (NUnit/XUnit), and Git/NuGet
- Background in logistics, warehousing, or distribution
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, JWT authentication
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and scripting (Python or PowerShell)
- Strong communication skills
