Job Summary
Architect and build scalable, high-performance .NET applications that stand up to real-world load while designing clean, modular software solutions. Take ownership of application robustness, making and defending sound architecture decisions for scalability, security, and performance. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to lead a development team in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients. Seamlessly integrate application components, APIs, and services using C#, Entity Framework, and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a similar role
- Expert in C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with CQRS for separating command and query responsibilities
- Expert in system integration: You seamlessly connect application components, APIs, and services to create a cohesive, high-performing solution
- Experience building REST/GraphQL APIs and writing API middleware
- Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Service Bus)
- Experience with version control software
- Experience in incorporating AI-tooling into your workflows
- Familiarity with scrum and working in an agile environment
- You are a team player with good communication skills
- You are detail-oriented with a focus on code quality and best practices
- You have a proactive problem-solving mindset
- You have a passion for continuous learning and innovation
- Fluent in English
- You are located in Belgium
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using TypeScript in back-end environments (Node.js with NestJS, Express or Fastify)
- Experience with React
- Experience developing products and platforms for the maritime sector
- You can demonstrate your skills using a couple of real world projects

- Dutch is a plus
