Job Summary

Manage a caseload of up to 28 tenants at 2700 Wewatta by assessing needs, developing individualized case plans, and driving them toward self-sufficiency in housing, employment, and education. Provide tailored support based on psychosocial and life skills assessments, accompany tenants to appointments, and assist with basic needs like laundry and shopping. Monitor progress monthly and quarterly via surveys and data collection, while advocating for tenants with leasing agencies regarding housing vouchers. Handle crisis interventions, maintain secure building access, and complete accurate documentation in Salesforce and HMIS. This role supports young adults aged 18-24 in a supportive housing complex, fostering community connectedness and independence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field
  • 2–4 years working with vulnerable, at-risk, and/or unhoused young people in shelter, transitional, or housing programs
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to prioritize and thoughtfully pivot tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where community and tenant needs shift quickly
  • Strong sense of independence balanced with a highly collaborative approach to supporting team and community goals
  • Demonstrated ability to build authentic, trusting relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Dedicated to ongoing learning around social justice, particularly the intersection of youth homelessness with race, sexuality, gender, ability, and socioeconomics
  • Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing typing or administrative tasks
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and participate in strenuous activities such as cleaning
  • Drug-free workplace environment
  • Final candidates must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check relevant to the safety and requirements of supporting vulnerable populations

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Knowledge of community resources in the Denver area
  • Familiarity with HUD and City of Denver housing regulations
  • Spanish language proficiency
