Job Summary
Design and develop scalable, maintainable server-side applications using NestJS, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. Write reusable, testable code while implementing security solutions and participating in code reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance, and define, design, and ship new features with clear documentation. Maintain proficiency in TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL, utilizing databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB. Apply knowledge of JWT, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust deployment and continuous improvement of backend systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience as a software developer, with a focus on backend development
- Strong proficiency with NestJS and its core principles (modules, controllers, providers, middleware)
- In-depth knowledge of TypeScript
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT)
- Familiarity with deployment and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
