Job Summary
Act as the Compliance Business Partner for Operations & Planning (O&P) compliance across client engagements, serving as the technical authority for NERC Reliability Standard requirements and supporting internal controls through risk assessments, audit support, and continuous process improvement. Monitor standards drafting and advise on updates to NERC standards including inverter-based resource requirements; assist with audit preparations, self-certifications, spot checks, and related documentation (RSAWs, mitigation plans). Support PRC studies related to protection systems, control schemes, and generator settings (PRC-019, -024, -025, -029); conduct annual reviews of processes, analyze compliance gaps, and integrate updates into O&P practices. Provide compliance oversight for new projects and identify applicable standards early; contribute to industry forums and outreach; ensure training and documentation are aligned with reliability and security objectives. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of related experience
- Prior NERC O&P and utility compliance experience, including compliance monitoring, training, and audit support
