Job Summary
Provide comprehensive nephrology NP coverage in an outpatient multi-specialty practice in Bronx, NY. Conduct patient assessments, manage kidney-related conditions (CKD, hypertension, electrolyte disturbances, glomerulonephritis, ESRD), order/interpret diagnostic tests (creatinine, BUN, GFR, urinalysis, imaging), develop treatment plans with supervising nephrologist, prescribe antihypertensives/diuretics/phosphate binders, educate patients/families on disease management and dietary restrictions, coordinate care with dialysis/transplant teams, monitor progress with follow-ups, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and stay current with nephrology advances. Visa sponsorship opportunities available; flexible schedule with open full-time or part-time options.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active New York State license
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (nephrology experience a plus)
- Proficient in patient assessment, diagnostic test interpretation, medication management, and EHRs
