Job Summary
Remote Nepali-English interpreter role handling over-the-phone interpretation for healthcare and medical contexts. Responsibilities include answering calls professionally, taking notes during calls, using industry-specific medical vocabulary, undergoing internal professional training, pursuing new certifications, and communicating with the team leader. Requires bilingual proficiency in English and Nepali, at least 1 year of interpreting experience, and a high school diploma. Fully remote employment with contract-type engagement and potential for full-time or part-time hours; monthly payments and onboarding process described.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma in your native language
- Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and Nepali
- 1+ years of interpreting experience
- Good knowledge of medical terminology
- Awareness in legal terminology is a plus
- International certifications in the healthcare industry are a plus (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)
