Job Summary
Neonatology Physician Assistant needed in Chicago to join Rush University Medical Center's Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology. 100% inpatient role with duties including delivery room attendance/management, direct patient care, and neonatal transport. Rotating schedule with 10-hour day shifts, 16-hour overnight shifts, and optional 24-hour shifts. Reports to two NICU Co-Lead APPs. Experienced NICU PAs may qualify for up to a $20,000 signing bonus. Preferred: prior neonatology PA experience; Acute Care Certification for inpatient work. Competitive compensation with relocation allowances. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Acute Care Certification if doing Inpatient work (for APRN)
