Job Summary
As a Neonatologist with Intermountain Health, you will join a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to high-quality neonatal care and excellent patient experience. You will practice at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, a 24-bed Level III NICU, collaborating with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a multidisciplinary staff to manage transfers from western Colorado and eastern Utah. Responsibilities include in-house daytime rounds, admits and discharges, and after-hours consults as needed, with 24/7 on-site NP coverage. The role offers an annual salary of $354,530 (based on 121 shifts/year), a $30,000 signing bonus, relocation assistance up to $20,000, and up to $75,000 in student loan assistance, along with a comprehensive benefits package, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance, and CME allowance. Requirements include MD/DO, board eligibility or certification in Neonatology, active license or ability to obtain one, U.S. ACGME residency, neonatal-perinatal fellowship, credentialing, and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board certified or boards eligible Neonatologist
- Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- U.S. ACGME Residency
- Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
