Job Summary
Neonatologist position at Intermountain Health based at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, in a 24-bed Level III NICU with a team of 3 Neonatologists and 5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. The role involves in-house daytime rounds, admissions, and discharges with after-hours consults as needed; NNPs are on site 24/7. Compensation includes a $354,530 annual salary (based on 121 shifts/year), a $30,000 signing bonus, relocation assistance up to $20,000, and up to $75,000 in student loan assistance. Benefits include comprehensive coverage, PTO, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance, and CME allowance. Requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in Neonatology, active Montana license or ability to obtain, US-based ACGME residency, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship, credentialing clearance, and BLS. Located in Grand Junction, CO, a city on Colorado’s Western Slope with access to outdoor recreation; St. Mary’s Medical Center is a 346-bed facility. Scheduling consists of 40 hours per week with 24-hour shift structure.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board certified or boards eligible Neonatologist
- Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- U.S. ACGME Residency
- Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
