Job Summary
Neonatologist role at Intermountain Health stationed at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, in a 24-bed Level III NICU. Join a team of 3 Neonatologists and 5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners with a full interdisciplinary staff. Typical duties include in-house rounds, admits, discharges, and on-call consultations; 24-hour in-house coverage for NNPs. Competitive annual salary of $354,530 (based on 121 shifts/year), signing bonus of $30,000, relocation assistance up to $20,000, and up to $75,000 in student loan assistance. Requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in Neonatology, active US medical license (preferably MT or ability to obtain), ACGME residency, fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, credentialing, and BLS. Located in Grand Junction, CO, within a large regional healthcare system with comprehensive benefits including CME allowance and malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board certified or boards eligible Neonatologist
- Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- U.S. ACGME Residency
- Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
