Job Summary

Neonatologist sought to join Intermountain Health for Utah Valley Geography, primarily based at Utah Valley Hospital’s Level III NICU in Provo with responsibilities across affiliated Level II NICUs (American Fork, Riverton) and Lehi Primary Children’s support. Provide care in home-base Level III NICU and in geographically aligned Level II NICUs; up to one-third of time in neonatal tele-critical care coverage. Works with a multidisciplinary team (RNs, Respiratory Therapists, OTs, Social Workers, Dietitians, CNAs) and engages in clinical research; may occasionally provide care at other NICUs within the organization. Requires MD or DO, board certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Utah medical license (or ability to obtain), and credentialing; includes signing bonus of $15,000 and relocation assistance up to $20,000. Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certified or board eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license or ability to obtain one
  • ACGME Residency/Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
