Job Summary
Neonatal Pediatric Hospitalist in Elmhurst, IL (Elmhurst Hospital) with Level IIe Special Care Nursery responsibilities. Provide comprehensive care for newborns in L&D, newborn nursery, and NICU settings; perform procedures such as PPV, intubation, central lines, and chest tubes; collaborate with neonatology and interdisciplinary teams; maintain medical records and participate in policy review, QI monitoring, and potential clinical research. Full-time role with 24/7 coverage; salary $162k-$193k, commensurate with experience; part-time and per diem prorated options available. Requires IL medical license, DEA, SBP certifications, pediatric residency, and Board eligibility with 5+ years of neonatal/acute pediatric experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- MD licensure in the State of IL
- Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License
- Completion of accredited pediatric residency or Master's level program in specialty area
- BLS for Healthcare Provider and NRP certifications
- American Board of Pediatrics eligible
- 5+ years of IP newborn experience or other relevant acute care pediatric experience preferred
