Job Summary
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed to join Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in a Full Time role serving in Boise’s Level III NICU (and a Level II NICU in Nampa) with 16-hour in-house NNP coverage in Boise (4pm–8am) and 24-hour coverage with on-call components in Nampa. Attend high-risk deliveries; co-manage NICU patients with Neonatology; participate in multidisciplinary rounds with active management strategies including nutrition, ventilator management, labs, and radiology review; support families. Ideal candidate has NP training with RN and APRN licensure and board certification as NNP or neonatal fellowship/residency with NP licensure; commitment to evidence-based medicine, teamwork, teaching, and mission-driven care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program with current RN and APRN licensure; current national board certification as NNP desired OR Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program with neonatal fellowship/residency (or 3 years minimum experience working in Level III/IV NICU), and current NP licensure.
- Current DEA and controlled substance Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise and SAMC - Nampa.
