Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
Attend high-risk deliveries and facilitate NICU admissions; co-manage NICU patients with attending Neonatologist and site-dependent well newborn nursery patients; participate in multidisciplinary rounds providing active management strategies including nutritional adjustments, ventilator management, labs, radiology review, and family updates; staffing model includes Level 3 in Boise with 16-hour in-house NNP coverage (4pm–8am) and Level 2 in Nampa with 24-hour shifts (onsite minimum 4 hours, remainder on-call) with 10 shifts per month (120 annually); ideal candidate holds NP degree with RN/APRN licensure and national NNP board certification or neonatal fellowship/residency with NP licensure; commitment to evidence-based medicine, teamwork, and teaching; opportunity to be part of a growing multispecialty group in SAMG.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program with current RN and APRN licensure; current national board certification as NNP desired OR graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program with neonatal fellowship/residency (or 3 years minimum experience working in Level III/IV NICU) and current NP licensure; current DEA and Idaho medical licensure granting privileges at SARMC - Boise and SAMC - Nampa.
