Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) join Saint Alphonsus Medical Group's 4-bed Level II NICU in Nampa and 32-bed Level III NICU in Boise as part of a physician-led multispecialty team. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, co-managing NICU patients with Neonatology, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, and providing active management strategies (nutritional adjustments, ventilator management, labs, radiology) while updating families. Staffing supports in Boise involve 16-hour in-house NNP coverage (4pm-8am); Nampa features 24-hour shifts with on-site minimums and on-call coverage. The role emphasizes teamwork, evidence-based practice, teaching, and alignment with the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Ideal candidates will have NP training with neonatal specialization or equivalent Level III/IV NICU experience, current NP licensure, and ability to obtain privileges at affiliated facilities.
