Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Specialist

Job Summary
Collaborate with neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists to guide the care of high-risk neonates and infants across Level III and Level IV NICU settings. Provide autonomous clinical decision-making and technical procedural skills while supporting nursing staff through patient care projects. Attend deliveries in person at medical centers and offer telemedicine resuscitation coverage for Level I nursery sites. Lead discharge planning initiatives to enable families to care for infants within and beyond the NICU setting. Rotate between Portland and Vancouver sites with flexible 12-, 16-, and 24-hour shift options to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Dual licensure in Oregon and Washington
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an NICU Staff Nurse
- Level III NICU experience preferred
- Current applicable state RN license
- National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Current applicable state license as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NNP-PP)
- Credentialed by Legacy Medical Staff for Category I and II privileges
- NRP certification from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of ECMO certification course
