Job Summary
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal-certified Physician Assistant to join a Neonatology team in the NICU at Corewell Health East Dearborn Hospital.Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries and transport of critically ill newborns; evaluating, diagnosing, and treating neonatal patients under medical director guidance; writing prescriptions and managing care in accordance with practice protocols; participating in daily rounds and multidisciplinary team activities; on-call coverage and care coordination; and supporting patient and family needs throughout the neonatal hospitalization.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies with Neonatal specialization
- State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license or eligibility
- Neonatal specialization
- AHA/ARC BLS certification
- 1 to 3 years’ experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a Neonatal setting, preferred
