Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Summary
Manage and provide care for patients requiring neonatal intensive care under the direction of an attending neonatologist. Conduct parent interviews, review historical events and physical findings, and order laboratory tests and procedures. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic measures including temperature stabilization, hyperalimentation therapy, feeding management, and phototherapy. Round with Nemours Neonatologists and participate in daily NICU meetings. Complete timely documentation per departmental policy and Nemours standards. Requires Florida ARNP licensure with NNP certification or PA program graduation, NRP and AHA BLS certifications, and pediatric experience. Rotating shifts are required.
Required Qualifications
- Florida ARNP Licensure with NNP Certification
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
- Active license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Florida
- NRP Certification
- AHA BLS
- Pediatric experience
