Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of neonatal patients and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor ongoing patient care, adjusting treatment plans as needed, while educating families on managing complex medical conditions. Serve as a resource and mentor to the healthcare team, participating in case conferences to ensure coordinated delivery. Requires a Master's or Doctorate degree, current NP or PA certification, and at least three years of acute care NICU experience. Full-time rotating schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing from an accredited NNP program, or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited PA program
- Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification, or PA
- Maryland or Compact RN and CRNP, or MD PA
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Minimum 3 years of acute care RN NICU experience required
- Level III or IV NICU experience
Desired Qualifications
- Level III or IV NICU experience preferred
- completion of a Neonatal Residency or Fellowship
