Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Assess, diagnose, and treat complex conditions in critically ill neonates while performing comprehensive physical examinations and executing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Manage emergencies in diverse settings and lead clinical management for high-risk infants, including those during transport to and from the NICU. Collaborate with medical, nursing, and support services, as well as the high-risk obstetrical team, to plan and evaluate ongoing care. Provide formal and informal education to families, staff, and colleagues, and contribute to program administration and evidence-based practice through research. Requires three years of RN experience in a Level III NICU, active RN and NP licenses in California, and BLS certification. Located in Carmichael, California.
