Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed at Clara Maass Health System-NICU in Belleville, NJ. Responsibilities include covering the well baby nursery, attending all deliveries, and managing a NICU with an average census of 5 patients and 5 deliveries daily. Schedule consists of 12-hour shifts (days and nights, 7 days a week) with potential for 24-hour shifts and variable days. Solo with physician on backup call; operates in a Level II NICU with Epic EMR. Deliveries include all Cesarean sections and high-risk vaginal deliveries as requested by OB. Requires neonatology expertise, resuscitation skills, and coordination with NICU staff and nurses. Competitive travel/lodging support and malpractice coverage offered.
