Job Summary
Neonatal ICU NICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator leads high-quality patient-centered nursing care in a Level IV NICU (108 beds) during night shift, coordinates admission/discharge processes, collaborates with management to drive improved outcomes, supports staff scheduling and development, assists with interviewing/training, conducts performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary, and reinforces nursing strategies to enhance engagement and service delivery in a 895+ bed tertiary center. The role requires RN with BSN, 1+ year Level IV NICU experience, and Charge Nurse experience, along with certified core competencies including ACLS/BCLS, Neonate Resuscitation, NTD Cardiac Stable Module, and STABLE within specified timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- BSN
- Minimum 1 year Level IV Neonatal ICU RN experience
- Charge Nurse experience required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- NTD Cardiac Stable Module must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
