Job Summary
Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including intubations, lumbar punctures, and line placements within a 16-bed, Level 3 NICU. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and speech/occupational therapists to provide high-acuity care. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation while maintaining BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Successfully complete and maintain clearance for a flight transfer physical to participate in patient transport flights as part of the role. Available for 12 or 24-hour shifts in this hospital-based position at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal PA
- BLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Must successfully complete and maintain clearance for a flight transfer physical
- Ability to participate in patient transport flights as part of the role
