Job Summary
Transport patients to various locations in medical vehicles safely, efficiently, and on time while observing all traffic rules. Inspect vehicles before each shift for fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes, and steering; notify supervisors of any defects. Operate wheelchair and gurney lifts, instruct clients on safe riding rules, and communicate with dispatch. Report and document accidents, vehicle damage, client incidents, and mechanical failures; complete trip documentation via phone applications. Keep assigned vehicles clean and fueled while following safety and COVID protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License
- Good Driving Record
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Ability to pass alcohol & drug test
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass First Aid & CPR training course
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be empathetic and polite
