Job Summary
NEMT Driver position in Fairview, TN delivering clients to medical appointments and community activities. Responsibilities include transporting clients safely, assisting passengers with wheelchairs and mobility, following dispatched routes, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, and delivering compassionate customer service. Requires a valid driver''s license and clean driving record; 1 year of transportation experience preferred; ability to lift 40–70 lbs; ability to pass drug screen and background check; willingness to complete required training and certification. Company offers guaranteed hours (approx. 35/week), overtime potential, $18/hr premium pay opportunities, base pay $15–$16.75/hr, $500 sign-on bonus, safety bonus up to $200 monthly, PTO, holidays, health benefits, 401(k), company vehicles, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver''s license and clean driving record
- 1 year of prior experience in transportation services preferred
- Experience with scheduling passenger pickup and drop-offs
- Ability to lift, move, push, and/or pull equipment: ability to lift in excess of 40 to 70 pounds
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check per state and company standards
- Willingness to complete required training and certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize safety
- Strong attention to detail
