Job Summary

Maintain an active caseload performing core Neighborhood Victim Advocate duties, including client outreach, crisis intervention, safety planning, court advocacy, and support group facilitation. Conduct community outreach to identify and recruit adult and child victims of crime, while selecting and implementing agency-approved curricula for individual and group services. Provide regular supervision to program staff and student interns, including field accompaniment, coaching, and performance evaluations. Build collaborative relationships with community partners and independently organize workload to meet quarterly reporting deadlines and funding source requirements. Collect and monitor program data to ensure contract compliance and identify areas for improvement. Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate client records in accordance with legal and agency standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice or a related field
  • Minimum Three years of progressively responsible experience in victim services or a related human services field
  • Previous direct service experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Automobile insurance
  • Access to reliable transportation on a consistent basis
  • Must be comfortable conducting home visits
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Relationship-building & collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Supervisory experience
  • Understanding of the dynamics of violence and victimization and trauma-informed service delivery
  • Experience with documentation, data collection, report writing, and meeting contractual deadlines
