Job Summary
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and inspections per the Total Quality Make Ready program. Perform intermediate maintenance tasks including light fixture replacements, minor plumbing, appliance checks, HVAC PM, and drywall patching. Assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups while maintaining property grounds, parking lots, and common areas. Maintain inventory, report supply needs, and support the maintenance team with work orders and groundskeeping. Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed while traveling daily to assigned communities within a 25-mile radius.
Required Qualifications
- Venterra certification of intermediate level plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC skills
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation
- Lifting/carrying (supplies, equipment, etc.): Over 75 lbs. Rare need
- Lifting/carrying (supplies, equipment, etc.): 25 – 75 lbs. Occasional need
- Lifting/carrying (supplies, equipment, etc.): 1 – 25 lbs. Constant need
- Work Authorization Requirement: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment
Desired Qualifications
- EPA certification preferred
- Prior experience in make-ready, maintenance, or related field
