Job Summary
Neighborhood Charter Schools is seeking a Middle School Teacher for the Bronx campus to instruct ELA, Math, Science, and History. The role emphasizes building relationships with co-teachers, delivering rigorous instruction to varied group sizes, soliciting and applying feedback, analyzing student data to drive instructional decisions, administering and adjusting for state assessments, and developing IEPs and behavior plans in collaboration with families. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- NYS Teaching Certification (preferred, certification pathway support offered)
- One year of teaching experience working an urban setting (preferred)
- Knowledge around students with disabilities, specifically high-functioning autism spectrum disorders (preferred)
