Job Summary
ADGA Group seeks a Needs Analysis and Researcher to support the development and implementation of a new Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capability for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The role involves leading and supporting the identification and documentation of use-cases, user-needs, systems and integration requirements via stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document analysis; conducting capability gap analyses; identifying research requirements; reviewing state-of-the-art in C-UAS capabilities; liaising with government, industry and research stakeholders to identify synergies and collaboration opportunities; providing management with recommendations on C-UAS solutions; and participating in meetings and briefings. The position is hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week in Ottawa) with a requirement for a Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, plus a Secret (Level II) security clearance or eligibility. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related engineering or business discipline focused on process management
- Minimum 7 years of experience (within the last 10 years) as a Business Analyst, ideally within government, defence, or large-scale, complex programs
- Experience in: Business Process Management across full lifecycle (discovery, modeling, analysis, measurement, improvement, optimization, automation)
- Business Process Mapping
- Process Digitization
- Stakeholder Analysis & Engagement
- Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one
