NE Construction Technician

Job Summary
The NE Construction Technician is responsible for the installation of products such as elevators and escalators at customer sites, adhering to specific installation procedures and safety protocols. Key responsibilities include ensuring safety procedures are followed before elevator operations, inspecting components like the vertical alignment of the lift column, guide rollers, and conducting necessary cleaning and testing of braking systems. The technician will adjust and calibrate various elevator systems, including door settings and safety devices, and is required to carry out inspections and tests according to a manufacturer’s checklist post-installation. This role requires strong electrical skills, the ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team, as well as proficiency with electronic tools.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 6 years of experience in the elevator sector
- Good electrical skills and ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Commitment to safety
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Proficient in the use of digital and electronic tools
- Technical high school diploma or equivalent or university degree
