Job Summary
NDT Technician / Special Inspector conducting testing to approved procedures and standards across shop and field locations, including fabrication shop inspections, moment connections in structural steel, and on-call projects nationwide. Requires certifications CWI and UT II (with MT II, PTII, PAUT, AMP I/II preferred), ability to prepare accurate daily reports, interact professionally with clients, work outdoors at heights and in varying weather, and travel as needed to support projects (Boise, ID area highlighted). Emphasis on safety compliance, knowledge of codes and procedures, and providing quality inspection services across construction and fabrication environments.
Required Qualifications
- The following certifications: CWI, UT II
- Preferred certifications: MT II, PTII, PAUT, AMP I or II
- Other experience/certifications in reinforced concrete, structural welding and bolting, other Special Inspection categories.
