Job Summary
Perform nondestructive testing activities to ensure the integrity of aircraft materials, components, and assemblies, including Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT) cycles with proper lighting and temperature control. Process parts through the complete penetrant inspection cycle, interpret process controls and industry standards, and record results per established testing plans. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble test equipment following blueprints and manuals, while preparing procedures and supporting internal and external audits. Maintain regular attendance and availability for variable schedules, nights, or weekends as needed. This onsite role supports engineers, production teams, and quality auditors within a well-established corporation, offering potential for extended or permanent full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing NDT Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) at Level I or Level II capacity
- 4+ years of NDT experience as a certified technician
- 1,200 penetrant logged hours (Level II) per NAS410
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience
- Background in aerospace, oil & gas, or manufacturing environments
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Available for variable schedules, nights, weekends, or additional hours as needed
Desired Qualifications
- X-Ray (RT) Level I or Level II certification
- Experience working in a Nadcap Accredited environment
- Experience with welding, heat treating, machining, and assembly processes and procedures
