NDT Tech Lead

Job Summary
Set up and standardize NDT equipment, interpret test results for acceptance or rejection, and document findings in accordance with applicable regulations. Develop specific calibrations and tests using ultrasound, radiography, or other techniques, while identifying equipment errors and defects. Conduct system performance checks, maintain or develop procedures and policies, and train subordinate personnel in various NDT disciplines. Record, analyze, and report test results while managing documentation for training and experience hours. Requires Level 2 NAS 410 certification, 5-7 years of experience, and ability to work inside or outside facilities with machinery operation.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Training Degree
- 5-7 years' experience
- Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- NAS 410 Certification Level 2
- State issued industrial radiographer certificate
- Ability to achieve Level I or Level 2 certification in alignment with NAS 410 standards
- Full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures
- Works within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies
- Works with a limited degree of supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
- Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required
- May be requested to work a different shift
