Job Summary
Assist Radiographic Testing Technicians with inspection activities in industrial environments by setting up and maintaining radiographic equipment, handling inspection tools, and preparing work areas. Maintain compliance with radiation safety procedures and support film processing and digital radiography operations as needed. Keep accurate documentation and inspection records while communicating effectively with supervisors and team members. Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project demands require. This role supports certified RT Technicians in fast-paced field and shop settings for MISTRAS Group, Inc. in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- Previous RT Assistant experience
- Strong understanding of industrial safety practices
- Ability to work in industrial and outdoor environments
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Local to the Louisville area
- Previous RT Assistant experience
