NDT Radiography Technician Level II

Job Summary
Perform radiographic weld inspections and evaluate fusion weld, machined, and forged products against internal, customer, and industry specifications. Conduct system performance checks, maintain daily and monthly logs for traceability, and interpret NDT results using applicable codes and standards. Author work instructions and documentation while participating in internal, customer, and NADCAP audits. Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Level I and II technicians and trainees. Overtime may be required. Candidates must hold ASNT Level I and II certifications with documented training hours per SNT-TC-1A and NAS 410.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of ASNT Level I, II courses
- Documentation demonstrating completion of at least the minimum hours of formal training and experience for each NDT method requiring certification
- Demonstrated familiarity with the scope and limitations of NDT methods
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Experience with stainless steel alloys, titanium, aluminum
- Familiar with NADCAP audits
- Must pay close attention to detail and be accurate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Effective interpersonal interface across organizational levels
- Lift up to 35 lbs
- Push and pull 35 lbs
- Overtime may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates familiar with SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, AWS, ASTM, Boeing, Rolls Royce, Lockheed Martin a plus
