NDT On-Site Inspection Technician

Job Summary
Performs non-destructive examinations at the home site and supported facilities, including UT thickness testing on piping, tanks, and vessels; completes detailed reporting of findings; enters corrective action work notifications; assists Authorized Inspectors with data collection and QA/QC tasks; works in an open-air environment and travels to regional sites as needed; collaborates with team to apply company procedures and policies; must be capable of communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences; requires Level II UT thickness experience and familiarity with industry codes (ASME, API, AWS, ASNT, ASTM); proficient in reading technical drawings and using Microsoft Office and CAD/data-management tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Some college preferred
- Level II UT thickness experience required
- Other NDE experience (PT, MT, VT) preferred
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ASNT, ASTM)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (P&ID’s, isometrics, blueprints, schematics)
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; data management systems (PSAIM, PCMS, etc.) preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel ~5 weeks per year or more
