NDT Level II PT/FPI (NAS-410) Castings - Cleveland, OH Contract Assignment (57213)

Job Summary

Perform examinations of materials and castings in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications. Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and priorities. Prepare written instructions and report examination results. Guide trainees and support team members with assigned tasks. Work independently in industrial environments, including heights, confined spaces, and around operating equipment. Handle radiation and hazardous materials while wearing required safety gear. This contract assignment near Cleveland, OH, involves any shift rotation up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week. Travel between regional locations is required. Applicants must be U.S. persons due to ITAR compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • NDT Level II PT (FPI) Technician per NAS-410
  • documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s)
  • working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes
  • ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to report issues and solve problems
  • Castings inspection experience with PT (FPI)
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • pass a drug screen
  • valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • U.S. Persons status (U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. lawful permanent residents, persons granted refugee status, or persons granted asylum in the United States)
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
  • Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
  • Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
  • Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments
  • Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
  • Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week
  • Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds
  • Must be willing to travel between locations as needed
