NDT Inspector Level II

Job Summary
Inspect aerospace parts and assemblies as an NDT Inspector Level II using FPI and MPI methods; review current condition, accept or reject parts per specifications, and participate in method improvements and non-conformance investigations. Perform in-house certified inspections (e.g., Nital Etch, Rockwell Testing, Conductivity checks), collaborate with Quality Engineering and Production Supervision, escalate to Level III as needed, and assist/training others while supporting continuous improvement and EHS initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Level II NDT certifications in FPI and MPI
- NAS-410 Level II Certifications
- ability to accept or reject parts per specifications
- ability to review and propose changes to inspection methods
- experience with Nital Etch, Rockwell Testing, Conductivity checks
- collaborate with Quality Engineering and Production Supervision
- refer NDT matters to Level III NDT personnel
- ability to train others and participate in continuous improvement
- must maintain high quality standards and identify non-conformances
- willingness to support environmental health and safety practices
- collective bargaining context familiarity
