NDT Assistant/ Apprentice

Job Summary
The NDT Assistant/Apprentice supports certified technicians in delivering nondestructive testing services across various sites. Responsibilities include assisting with inspections, prepping tools, ensuring safety compliance, transporting equipment, and maintaining work areas. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass screening checks. Successful applicants must be willing to travel, work flexible shifts, and fulfill physical demands of the role, including lifting and working at heights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check
- Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials
- Willingness to travel and work in various environments typically found in Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and other type settings
- Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in NDT, construction, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with basic NDT methods and terminology
- Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools/equipment
