Job Summary
NDT Apprentice role performing a range of duties in the NDT department, including unpacking parts, documenting as-received condition, preparing orders for inspection, performing final visual inspection, packaging according to customer requirements, maintaining housekeeping, completing in-process paperwork, and tracking labor time. Trainees participate in NDT training programs, document hours, and pursue certification exams to advance their level of certification; expect to support cross-functional tasks and continuous improvement initiatives within a quality-focused manufacturing environment; familiarity with Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and X-ray inspections is relevant to the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Authorized to work for any U.S. based employer
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Basic understanding of NDT processing (preferred)
- Experience in quality, manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
