Job Summary
NDE Level II Technician needed for 2nd shift (3:30pm–11:55pm) at a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include performing NDE inspections (VT/MT/PT/RT) with applicable certifications, documenting nondestructive test procedures, reading and interpreting blueprints, and conducting simple mechanical checks on welded fabrications and castings. Additional compensation offered for Level II UT/LT and IRRSP certifications. Must work without direct supervision, cooperate with co-workers, and operate in a union environment. US citizenship is required. 2nd shift with a shift differential; benefits after eligibility terms apply.
Required Qualifications
- NDE Level II in VT/MT/PT/RT (minimum)
- Certification in UT/LT and IRRSP desired
- Must read and understand blueprints
- Must perform simple mechanical checks related to welded fabrications and castings
- Must complete documentation for nondestructive test procedures
- Must be able to work without direct supervision
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be willing to work in a Union environment
- Must be a US Citizen
