Job Summary
Assist with nondestructive testing equipment setup and calibration; apply testing criteria per procedures; support inspection and testing tasks under supervision of a training NDE Technician; record test results, measure dimensions with basic tools, and prepare test/inspection reports; ensure compliance with safety and environment policies; participate in training and development programs to build skills in NDE within an industrial fabrication context.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- No specific experience required
- Knowledge of nondestructive testing is not required but may be beneficial
- Ability to follow instructions and learn under supervision
- Willingness to work in a fabrication/industrial environment
- Ability to record results and write basic inspection reports
- Ability to measure dimensions using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers under supervision
