Job Summary
NDE Engineer focused on ADVANCE UT (PAUT/ToFD) lead responsibilities: obtaining PAUT/ToFD L-III qualification from client, supervising field crews, mentoring L-II technicians, preparing procedures (MUT, PAUT, ToFD), calibrating equipment, reviewing data and reports, and coordinating with clients to advance UT applications and technologies on CS, SS, LTCS, P11, Inconel, and nickel-alloy materials in Abu Dhabi.
Required Qualifications
- PAUT L-III qualification
- Experience Total 10+ years in NDE
- 3+ years job experience as L-III after PAUT L-III qualification
- PAUT experience 5+ years with CS, SS, LTCS, P11, Inconel, nickel-alloy materials
- Lead ADVANCE UT crew and maintain project progress
- Mentor L-II technicians; on-job training for junior technicians
- Examination setup; initial examinations; review raw data; preparation and verification of advance UT reports
- Liaise with client/Company for smooth job progress
- Improve ADVANCE UT application and introduce new technology per project/client requirements
- Calibration & Demonstration with local manufacturer as per project requirement
- Maintain ADVANCE UT inventory of equipment & accessories
