Job Summary

Install, troubleshoot, assemble, repair, and maintain tooling and equipment at plant sites, including nuclear reactor components. Conduct routine and non-routine tasks, operate specialized equipment, take measurements, and compile data on equipment and process performance. Develop calculations, reports, maintenance logs, and certification documents while creating procedures, problem reports, and field schedules. Participate in project planning, proposal preparation, and procurement. Comply with all safety and health rules, including personal dose compliance. Work flexible hours and shifts as required, with potential for extensive travel to regional and remote job sites, and may require unescorted nuclear site access.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent education
Minimum of 10 years of related experience
NDE Technician III requisites
Advanced knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field
Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs
Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, convey detailed technical data and work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers
Must gain two additional tool technician certs and be an Assistant System Lead for a tool system
Must acquire two additional operator certs and become a NDE Technician LVL 2 in the primary discipline that is used to acquire data
Must record all experience gained and become LVL I in at least 2 disciplines and LVL II in 1 discipline
Must have 7 operator certifications and become a NDE Technician LVL I in the primary discipline that is used to acquire data
Must attend at least one leadership course per year and fill a leadership role
May require specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be available for weekend shifts
Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
