Job Summary
NDE Assistant supports NDE Technicians in performing nondestructive tests and calibrations to determine acceptance or rejection, with on-the-job and classroom training to advance as an NDE Technician. Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting with calibration of equipment, conducting tests to detect discontinuities, recording inspection results, performing NDT procedures, and other tasks as assigned. Requirements include background check, drug screen, and safety clearance; physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and working in indoor/outdoor environments with extreme temperatures and industrial hazards. Located in Odessa, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Complete and pass a DISA Background check
- Complete and pass a Urine/Alcohol Drug Screen
- Complete and pass site specific safety council
