Job Summary
The Medical Assistant – NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) is responsible for patient care services, determining medical conditions, and preparing patients for examination and treatment under provider direction. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for x-ray examinations, updating medical records, utilizing x-ray equipment, and notifying supervisors of equipment issues. Additional duties involve preparing treatment rooms, administering injections, collecting laboratory specimens, and documenting patient care. The role requires collaboration with healthcare providers and adherence to safety standards in radiologic practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Limited Radiologic Technology Program required or NCT Program
- Current state Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) or Non-Certified Technician with Spine, Extremities, and Chest Modules licensure required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Limited Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
